Greetings
Well Afghanistan has been on my mind this week with me creating a tribute wallpaper addressing the recent "carry on" in the media concerning Australian soldiers operating here and their 'treatment' in handling enemy detainees.
As I'd finished it, I heard the news of an ambush over there which resulted in nine Special Forces Soldiers being wounded.
The Australia Army advises this is the MOST wounded in a single action SINCE the Vietnam War!
Today I'm pleased to say, ALL wounded are stable and at least five will not need to RTA (Return to Australia).
I behooves me then to ask everyone to remember ALL the service personal in 'harms way' and let's hope they can finish the job and get home soon.
And let's stick it up the bleeding hearts 'armchair commando's' who are far TOO quick to criticize our military.
